Parents/guardians, we want to update you on some issues MSCD, as well as other school districts in Utah, are experiencing with the recent changes to the Aspire SIS system. USBE and MSCD, as well as Canvas, are still working to address these issues, but unfortunately, assignment and assessment scores in Canvas still aren't syncing correctly with the Aspire Gradebook.
We recognize this is challenging for teachers, students, parents, and guardians, and we hope the various IT departments working on these issues can find a solution soon. To ensure that parents and students have an accurate understanding of a student's grade for a class, teachers have been directed to input the overall grade percentage from Canvas into the Aspire Gradebook for the Aug 24-28th school week. Parents/guardians are always encouraged to sign up as a Parent Observer in Canvas to access their student's work and class materials. The following
